hello there friend.

here you will find the chronicles of a curious girl.

welcome to georgia

Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, I grew up always having big dreams. As the youngest of 4 children, my imagination was always encouraged to run wild. If you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, one day I would answer 'zookeeper' and the next I would say 'Supreme Court Justice'. Growing up I never had one set plan for my life. That is one fact that has not changed much. As I entered into college, I decided my best bet would be to live at home and go to the University in my hometown because it was the most economical choice with my triplet siblings who are two years older, also being in college. There were only two things I knew for certain when I entered college: first, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my life and second, I wanted to travel. By staying at home, I was able to work and continue doing some freelance photography work to save up money.

After my freshman year, my best friend and I embarked on an unforgettable 4 week backpacking trip through Europe and had the most incredible times of our lives. The people we met, places, we saw, and things we learned along the way will always stay with us always. I hope to share some of those moments through this blog.

As for the future of my travels, my sister Rachel and I will be going on a backpacking trip for 7 weeks throughout Europe. I am excited for her to experience some of my biggest passions (Europe and Travel) and am especially excited for the plans we have made (and the ones we have not made). Stay tuned for updates and our adventures.

As for the future of my career, I still have no clue what I want to do with my life. I will continue to study political science/interntional studies as my major, strive to improve my photography, and aim to continue to be creative and curioius. Instead of planning, I will follow the opportunities that are in front of me, enjoying each moment I am given. Who needs planning
